Fukuoka

Joelle experienced the panic of a hotel evacuation during Typhoon Jebi while on vacation in Osaka in September 2018. The next day after the storm, there was a beautiful sunrise. She woke up and read Isaiah 60:1, which she believes is a word for Japan: “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.” 

 

Joelle had previously served as a Church Planter in Uruguay and a full-time staff at Victory Family Centre Singapore. 

 

In this season, Joelle desires to establish in Fukuoka a house of prayer, where everyone gathers in joy — loving Jesus, building community, holding on to hope, and knowing their God-given purpose in life.
